My aim is to help you unlock your full potential by seeking to identify
issues that may be blocking or holding you back and to assist you to uncover your own resources, improve your wellbeing and maintain personal growth.
I have specialist training in affirming work with Black, Asian and LGBTQ+ clients and a deep understanding of how discrimination, racism, identity and intersectionality can shape experience. This means I can bring both cultural awareness and an affirming approach to conversations around self-identity, belonging and lived experience.
Alongside individual therapy, I offer relationship therapy to both gay and straight couples. Whether you are struggling with communication, infidelity, feeling disconnected, or stuck in recurring conflict, I can help you better understand one another and create positive change within your relationship.

Qualifications

I have a Master's Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master's Degree in Social Work and Social Policy and I am registered to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which supervises my practice and ethical conduct.
Values
Compassion – I offer a caring and non-judgmental relationship where your needs are explored and respected. Together, we work to quiet your inner critic, shift unhelpful self-talk, and develop a more lasting sense of self-compassion.
Empathy – I aim to walk alongside you in your understanding of your experiences, including the more uncomfortable feelings. In this space, your struggles will be heard, held, and understood.
Authenticity – As human beings, we are often socialised to hide how we really feel or present a version of ourselves that others expect to see. I aim to be genuine in our relationship, offering honest, compassionate challenge and reflective feedback while supporting you to connect more fully with your true self.
Inclusivity – I work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and recognise that starting therapy can feel especially challenging for those from minority groups. I aim to offer a space where you can speak openly without judgement, and where your experience is taken seriously.

My counselling practice is built on a foundation of extensive experience, working with adults and young adults across past roles in social work, probation, a university counselling service, and within a domestic abuse programme. This has given me a deep understanding of the complexity of people’s lives, relationships and emotional struggles, and how meaningful change can develop when people feel supported and valued.
